Organization Chart

The Integrated Research Center for Carbon Negative Science was founded to promote research on “carbon negative energy” for the realization of a sustainable society. In collaboration with the Graduate School of Engineering and the Graduate School of Energy Science at Kyoto University, the center will serve as a base for research and education through the fusion of diverse academic fields. The center will work to develop new technologies for aggressive fixation and utilization of carbon dioxide. We will also work on human resource development to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Currently, we are promoting researches with three research projects: ” Solar energy utilization for CO₂ capture”, ” Conversion of CO₂ into useful substances”, and ” Biological utilization of CO₂“.
